SBRA is the only Brussels-based liaison office representing Slovenian organisations from both the public and private sectors. Established in 1999, it connects business, research and local communities in Slovenia with the EU institutions and other public and private bodies at EU level.

OUR MISSION

SBRA has been created with the purpose to support its members in their activities at the EU level and facilitate their successful participation in EU programmes, projects and initiatives.

Welcome

The Slovenian Business and Research Association (SBRA) is a Brussels-based liaison office of the most successful Slovenian organisations from both the public and private sectors.

Established in 1999 as an international non-profit association connecting business, research and local communities in Slovenia with the EU institutions and other public and private bodies at EU level. SBRA members represent a widespectrum of Slovenian interests, from the fields of business and research.

The website primarily serves as an interactive tool for our members, as many of our members are active in EU-funded projects, you are invited to contact us with your project ideas.

From 2019 to 2026, SBRA acted as the Secretariat and host institution of the Network of European Financial Institutions for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (NEFI). For further information, click here.

Since 2011, SBRA also acts as the Secretariat of the Knowledge Economy Network (KEN).
